A Wall of Ideas gives your participants the opportunity to exchange ideas on a specific topic within the app. The function is known from social media and is therefore intuitive in its use and operation.
To create a wall, select the event for which you need the Wall of Ideas and click on Interactions in the CMS menu and then on Wall of Ideas.
Use the +Create Wall of Ideas button to create such a wall. You can create several walls within a business event for different subject areas.
Give the Wall of Ideas a meaningful name (1) that describes the topic. The name is displayed in the app.
The info text (2) is displayed in a pop-up window when the participant enters the Wall of Ideas for the first time. Here you can describe the purpose of the wall in more detail.
By extending the moderation function in the CMS, contributions can be released by the moderator if desired (3). This means that users write a contribution, which is checked by the moderator in the CMS and published after approval. An e-mail notification can also be sent to a specified e-mail address as soon as participants have published a new post (4). This is also possible for new comments on a post (5).
Specify how the participants on the wall communicate with each other (6). You can determine whether it should be possible to post posts anonymously, whether pictures can be shared, and whether a like list should be displayed. This way, users can see who has clicked which posts.
By means of a rights management in the CMS it can be determined on a group basis which actions (items, liks, comments) may be performed within the selected group (7).
Through an extension of the moderation function in the CMS, the release of contributions can be made by the moderator if desired. This means that users write a contribution, which is checked by the moderator in the CMS and published after approval.
Furthermore, from now on it is possible to share contributions for the WOI directly from the CMS. This means that event managers or organizers can now post directly on the WOI. The integration of deep links, which can lead to a custom page with further information, also simplifies the sharing of important content.
