Locations can be additionally provided with a QR code, after which a stored deep link opens, which leads e.g. to an individual page (link).
(1) Click on Create location.
(2) General setup: Give the location a name, select an icon and an icon color if necessary.
(3) Scanner setup: Enter a pop-up text. This will be displayed once the QR code has been scanned by the user. The deep link destination refers to the page to be displayed once the QR code has been scanned. Deep links can be found behind every created content in the CMS.
If contents of several events are to be linked together, a unique location code can be specified. However, the content must always be stored in the respective event.
(4) Click Save to save your settings.
(5) Your location for the Location Scan has been successfully created. Under (a) you can download the QR Code for printing. Under (b) you can download the visits of the users who scanned the QR Code as an Excel spreadsheet.
(6) To allow users to scan the QR codes within the app, the internal scanner must still be placed in the app menu.
